CALF has honored a Legend of Agriculture every year since 2009, beginning with John and Bea Lowell, CALF’s founders and original benefactors. John and Bea's lifelong values are the inspiration for this award—they exemplified Colorado’s rural, agricultural heritage through a mindset of cooperation, discipline, and personal excellence while serving their community, especially our youth.
This year’s Legend of Agriculture honorees are Tom and Ann Bozeman. Longtime residents of Douglas County’s South Pinery, Ann and Tom are devoted community members and lifelong volunteers with a deep-rooted commitment to agriculture and education. Since discovering CALF, they have quietly and consistently invested their time, energy, and talents into supporting its mission—from gardening and entertaining to repairing equipment and mentoring youth. Ann and Tom embody the spirit of this award and continue to inspire the next generation through their example and generosity.
