The Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation is dedicated to connecting people to agriculture through authentic educational programming, projects, and special events.

Goals and Objectives

CALF strives to:

• Promote an appreciation and increased awareness of the importance of agriculture in everyday life;
• Offer a place to raise 4-H livestock projects and learn about agriculture;
• Provide authentic educational experiences that align with district and state standards
• Share the significance of our agricultural heritage and rural lifestyle;
• Encourage sound stewardship practices for agricultural lands and livestock; and

CALF implements its goals through a variety of education, venues, projects and special events including:

• K-12 educational programming
• Teacher, adult and landowner agricultural education programs
• On-site 4-H and/or FFA livestock projects
• On-site community garden opportunities
• Special events to provide enlightenment and enjoyment for the community

CALF is committed to creating an atmosphere that promotes the agricultural values demonstrated by John and Bea Lowell throughout their life. CALF conducts its daily work in a manner that cultivates a mindset of cooperation, discipline, responsibility and personal excellence.
